Now in his 10th year as dean of the Neag School of Education, Richard L. Schwab has worked with his leadership team to make deliberate and bold changes that continue to move the Neag School toward its goal of becoming one of the top schools of education in the country. Dr. Richard L. Schwab's commitment to education reaches beyond UConn. Dr. Schwab is an active member of the National Commission on Teaching and America’s Future (NCTAF) and the American Association of Colleges of Teacher Education (AACTE). He teaches each summer at AACTE’s New Deans Institute and is president of the AACTE’s Connecticut chapter.
